The University of Chicago Press is a leading academic publisher and one of the oldest university presses in the United States. Its mission is to disseminate scholarship of the highest standard across a wide range of disciplines, from the humanities to the physical sciences. The press publishes over 90 scholarly journals and has a large books division with over 5,000 books in print. Additionally, the University of Chicago Press partners with the National Bureau of Economic Research to publish the proceedings of four annual conferences along with other research studies.
