NRC Research Press is the former publishing arm of the National Research Council of Canada, which spun off in 2010 to become Canadian Science Publishing. It is a not-for-profit publisher specializing in scientific, technical, and medical content. The organization publishes over 20 peer-reviewed journals, many of which have been in continuous publication since 1929. These journals publish more than 2,000 articles each year and are distributed to readers in over 175 countries.
